Once Upon a Time...

We used to be the Lehi Drug Company. The owner, Abel Ekins, was the pharmacist and ran the business. His son, Dale, took over the company and worked alongside his dad for a few years before Abe retired. Many locals have fond memories of the old Drug Store. There was an ice cream bar, a soda shop, penny candy – and of course, that hometown friendly service.

In 1995, Dale sold the pharmacy and continued his business under the new name, Pioneer Party & Copy. At the time, we were the only store to sell party items and the only copy shop in town. We expanded our party supplies, gifts, copies, and candy. We started making little “ready to go” gifts wrapped in cellophane… which was the first of its kind at the time. Over time, we have evolved even more. Our name certainly doesn’t explain all that we do!

And We Lived Happily Ever After...

We are still located in the same building with the same owner. Pioneer Party is one of a kind in that we still have that old-fashioned customer service attitude. Helping our guests is our number one priority. We love the satisfaction of knowing that we helped make someone’s day a little bit better. We love listening to guests ooh and aahh over our cute merchandise and clever ideas. We love to hear that our balloons lasted for weeks instead of days. We try to go out of our way to do everything we can to satisfy each guest. Locals call us their own little “gold mine” or their “secret store” and have been great to support us through the years. We have also welcomed many new guests as our name has traveled throughout the state and even the country.

Our Mission:

We will strive to treat every guest just like we would like to be treated – with respect, patience, and cheerfulness. We will likewise do the same for our fellow employees. We will try and provide our guests with a clean, pleasant atmosphere so they will feel comfortable while they are here. Our goal is to try and have a fair value for the merchandise and services that we provide.
